It’s easy to dismiss the urban pigeon as tatty and diseased but they do have certain qualities one of which is their tolerance of people. Another is that their colouring, given the right light, can be quite vivid. This was one of a small flock feeding from the cracks in the paving at the Donegall Street end of North Street.
