NX5266 : Sheepfold beside the Mid Burn

taken 12 years ago, near to Mid Burn [water Feature], Dumfries And Galloway, Great Britain

Sheepfold beside the Mid Burn
Sheepfold beside the Mid Burn
Described on the Canmap site (Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Scotland) at LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) as a Sheepfold or Structure. My first thought as I came to it was "Ah, look, an old shieling', but those aren't well represented this far south normally, so the RCAHMS are much more likely to be right.
