The wall turns right, but ends after about another 90 metres, close to the
NS4380 : The Common Kist. As I mention towards the end of that item, the Common Kist used to be covered by a large cairn, but, in all likelihood, the cairn's stones were pilfered to build this dry-stone wall, and a nearby little pen (
NS4380 : Small enclosure near the Common Kist).
In the background of the present photograph, the
NS4380 : Hill of Standing Stones is visible, right of centre, with a little point on top corresponding to its summit cairn; it is about 500 metres away.
The much more distant ranges of hills to its left are, from right to left (and in order of increasing distance): the Campsie Hills, the Fintry Hills, and the Ochil Hills.
