St Martin’s is a Victorian building built between 1868 and 1877. It has one of the tallest church spires in England, the height to the weathervane being 210 feet. It is visible for miles around.

The church is a Grade II* listed building situated in a quiet churchyard within the conservation area close to the High Street of the busy market town of Dorking.

The church is shared by Anglicans and Methodists.
