Slipway at Port Gobhlaig
Slipway at Port Gobhlaig
A tiny slipway at the western end of Kilmaluag Bay. On the far side of the bay is Balmacqueen. A new house close to the shore is nearing completion, and groundworks for a second new house are visible on the far left of the picture. The site was once a community of at least seven crofts, and has been thoroughly investigated prior to the building of the new houses. A full report of the investigation is available here: LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link )
