Four for the price of one! The exercise in action - both lifeboats and the helicopter with a crewman being winched down onto the moving Donaghadee boat. Stena Superfast VIII Link in the background was not taking part!
Air/sea rescue exercise, Bangor 2012

Simulated air/sea rescue exercise in Bangor Bay on the 3rd June 2012. The exercise involved Bangor Lifeboat Link , Donaghadee Lifeboat Link , Bangor Coastguard team and Royal Navy Sea King helicopter Rescue 177. The event was timed to coincide with celebrations taking part in the town to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.
