SK0068 : Three Shires Head from west of Holt

taken 13 years ago, near to Flash, Staffordshire, England

Three Shires Head from west of Holt
Three Shires Head from west of Holt
Cut-thorn Hill, right (in Cheshire), drops down to the River Dane. The steep west-facing slopes of the valley (in Staffordshire) carry a belt of woodland, with the nearest stand at Three Shires Head and Knotbury Common beyond, left. The bare shoulder in a passing patch of sun is a sliver of Derbyshire.
