SO1292 : Small islet in the River Severn

taken 14 years ago, near to Llanllwchaiarn, Powys, Wales

Small islet in the River Severn
Small islet in the River Severn
I imagine this gets swamped when the river is in spate but after an unusually dry spring it would have been possible to walk to it today (but difficult to get down to from the path).
Seen from the Montgomery Canal (filled in at this point) which now carries both the Severn Way and National Cycle Route 81.
