Shops on Harper Road
This parade of shop units opposite Dickens Square Park included several that were shuttered even on a weekday afternoon (and therefore presumably closed).
In front of the shops is a docking station for the Barclays hire bikes introduced in summer 2010, since I took the previous version of this photo TQ3279 : Ellington House and shops, Harper Road.
In the foreground, the catkins on the tree show that Spring had finally arrived (the day was bright though cold).
