SJ7560 : Waitrose supermarket, Sandbach

taken 15 years ago, near to Sandbach, Cheshire East, England

Waitrose supermarket, Sandbach
Waitrose supermarket, Sandbach
The supermarket was built as infill development at the same time as (or shortly after) the Sandbach inner relief road. It was originally Safeway, then Morrisons and finally Waitrose.
Sandbach shops, markets and pubs

Sandbach is a historic market town and also retains more independent shops and pubs than most small towns. But many have changed hands in recent years and so I have started a photographic record of them. The first set are from New Year's Eve 2012 (plus a few from 2010) and others followed through subsequent years, including other business premises.
