SJ0075 : St Margaret's Church war graves
Several of the graves relate to the Kinmel riots. In 1919 several hundred Canadian soldiers, impatient at their slow repatriation back home to Canada, rioted at the Kinmel camp for 2 days. Troops fired on them to restore order resulting in several deaths.
Many of the other English and Canadian graves (and a couple of German prisoners of war) are of those who died of the pneumonia / flu epidemic after the armistice.
