A victim of 'Storm Doris'

Not a tree as such, rather one part of a tree - a large branch that sheared off one of the trees on the right, falling to block the path below. It didn't take long for a diversionary route to form around the side.

Cannock Chase - Stepping Stones in the Sher Brook

Popular with visitors on an August Bank Holiday. Water levels are fairly low and many walkers shunned the stones to walk through the ford.
