	Regard the end, Watermills Chimney by Christine Johnstone Watermills Chimney was built in 1840 as a ventilation shaft for the Watermills Colliery, which closed in 1912. It is now a Grade 2 listed building and bat habitat. Each face had a different uplifting motto. Only two are legible now.
