Big rock by Llyn Gwynant
I am informed that the large rock in question is named Clogwyn y Fulfran [meaning Cormorant Rock]and was also known as the Elephant Rock by climbers. Thanks to David Medcalf for this information.

Adventure Race tag
The tag on the stile is for the Coast 2 Coast Adventure race which was held in North Wales - from Conwy on the north Wales coast to Aberdovey on the west coast. This is where they camped, on the shores of Llyn Gwynant, on the first night.

Llyn Gwynant from Penmaen-brith woods
The scenery here is rather reminiscent of Ullswater in the Lake District, with larch woods above a rocky lakeshore. The sailing dinghy is struggling in the high winds.
