Heading for Glen Luibeg
The precise location of this photo is a little hard to tie down now, but the trees on the left look recently-planted at the time, and my notes describe it as 'Between Derry Lodge and Glen Luibeg'.

West of Derry Lodge
Taken from the path westwards; it can be seen beyond the Luibeg Burn on the right, now happily restored from being an eroded landrover track. In the distance are Carn a' Mhaim on the right and Beinn Bhrotain centre.

The white building at the bottom of the image is Luibeg Cottage. NO0393 : Luibeg Cottage
It sits by Luibeg Burn close to the point where it joins Derry Burn to form Lui Water. In the distance with snow on the summit is Beinn a' Bhuird.
