The National Cycle Network is a network of cycle routes in the United Kingdom, covering over 13,000 miles of signed cycles routes, with 70% of these on roads. There are nine primary routes crossing the UK, and 50 other secondary routes.

A thousand cast iron mileposts were created to mark the creation of the National Cycle Network.
