Introduction
The National Cycle Network is a network of cycle routes in the United Kingdom, covering over 13,000 miles of signed cycles routes, with 70% of these on roads. There are nine primary routes crossing the UK, and 50 other secondary routes.A thousand cast iron mileposts were created to mark the creation of the National Cycle Network.
