SONER CAGAPTAY is Director of the Turkish Research Program at the Washington Institute. He has taught at Yale, Princeton, and Georgetown Universities and at Smith College. His latest book is A Sultan in Autumn: Erdogan Faces Turkey’s Uncontainable Forces.
