Daron Acemoglu
DARON ACEMOGLU is Institute Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he has taught since 1993. One of the world’s most frequently cited economists and a 2005 recipient of the John Bates Clark Medal, he is a co-author of Why Nations Fail (with James A. Robinson) and Power and Progress: Our Thousand-Year Struggle Over Technology and Prosperity (with Simon Johnson).
