Description
June 7, 1989. Beverly Hills, California. 23-year old Adam Hecht, the son of a famous Hollywood film producer, is seen driving away from his apartment in a rental car, but he never returns and the vehicle is found abandoned weeks later. In the months prior to his disappearance, Adam had befriended a homeless man named “Tony” and seemed to develop a fascination with the homeless population while becoming disillusioned with his own privileged lifestyle. After Adam goes missing, Tony is discovered to be residing in his apartment, but when he is investigated by police, they are unable to find any evidence that he was involved in Adam’s disappearance. Did Adam Hecht become the victim of foul play or did he disappear voluntarily in order to start over? On this week’s episode of “The Trail Went Cold”, we cover a unique missing persons case which has yet to find a resolution after 34 years.
