Dad’s on the other hand get to be Fun Pool Dad. Why is that? Why do dads get to have all of the fun with their kids while moms are on lifeguard duty or snack patrol? Apparently moms have decided that they want to have fun with their kids at the pool too. So they are now engaging, splashing, swimming, and laughing with their kids at the pool, while dads have become the lifeguards. Okay, dads aren’t lifeguards the entire time they are at the pool. But it is a great new movement where moms and dads take turns sharing in the fun and also the responsibility of caring for their children at the pool. Let’s face it, moms have already done so much work just to get her kids to the pool, so she might as well have fun while she’s there too. Obviously, Andie and Angie also mention how trying to leave the pool can be challenging for little ones. Andie reminds the Mother Funny Tribe though, that this is just a phase.
