Prologue
Long ago, in a land far over the horizon, lived a valiant and noble Bunny King. His kingdom was one of many, each ruled by different animals.
There was the Bear King, which ruled over the bears and the foxes. The Deer King, which ruled the deer, moose and other horned animals. The Owl King, which ruled over the large birds. The Wolf King, which ruled the wolves and coyotes. The Mountain Lion King ruled the wild cats that roamed the forest and mountains. Then there was Noah, the Bunny King, who ruled over the smaller animals in the forest.
Thou he was small; he was a giant in spirit. He believed that all God’s creatures deserved to have a good and strong leader and proved he was an amazing warrior. He came to the forest an orphan buck named Noah and proved to be one of the most noble and brave animals in the forest. He fought along-side his animal friends and was honored when they chose him to be a King.
As the years pass, the Bunny King proved he was a good and just king. Avoiding battles when able, and able to strike down his enemies when needed.
The Bunny King chose a lovely doe named Marissa, to be his queen. They shared a lot of the same views on how the kingdom should be ruled. They made a new home and named it Warren Castle. They brought each other much happiness, but they longed for the day that they would be blessed with the sounds of pitter patter around castle.
Their wish was finally granted with the arrival of 6 tiny bunnies. Three princesses Joslin, Abigale, and Emily. Along with three princes Conner, Nathaniel (Nate), and Samuel (Sam).
The king was over the moon. He finally had the family he had longed for so long. As they grew, all the young bunnies came to be strong in mind and body. King Noah and his queen did their best in guiding them as they grew up. The young princes proved to more mischievous than they would have liked. Always sneaking around and finding trouble to get into. The princesses seemed to be a little more levelheaded but in the right circumstances, could achieve just as much trouble.
Life for the Bunny King was more than he had ever hoped for. He finally had the family he had longed for, and the power to protect them. He would soon be tested and judged by those he loves the most. Can he measure up to their expectations, when he is faced with the evil that had stolen his family and left him an orphan?
Chapter 1
One day a scout arrived, bringing an urgent message to King Noah. The princes saw the messenger and took this opportunity to eavesdrop on the kings meeting.
There had been trouble rising in the forest, and animals from every kingdom were vanishing without a trace. The king notified his Queen and his council. He made preparations making sure his family was well protected. He also sent word throughout his kingdom urging everyone to be on alert. No one was to travel alone, and never after dark. He would have to leave Warren Castle to meet with the Kings Council to try and come up with a solution to stop this nightmare. It would be a dangerous journey.
King Noah was to take a small band of guards with him, leaving the remainder to protect his family and kingdom.
Little did the King know that deep within
