    Author’s note

When I started writing these stories, I had no idea what I was doing with them. Within the course of twenty-four hours, I squeezed my heart out to give you this... ‘Strangers on the Internet’.

The fact that it was written literally within a day, should suffice to say that this isn’t monumental writing. This is one of my most raw, served hot, straight from the heart works.

Now, it’s all yours. Do what you will with it.

    Love,

    Shanaya Stephens

p.s. It was edited at a later date. Still, remains very much the same.

S atan is coming to crown you personally, for your work at spreading his love to all.

    -  Ishaaq

Umm, stories are not super new. Based on common occurrence that cannot be taken away.

    -  Dhruv

You could have chosen to learn the skill before obliterating it. Maybe not write that again.

    -  Shanaya

We all consume lies when our heart is hungry.

Krist, or the one with a catalyst

It was a battle of wits on a Saturday night. To know what to do when one figures out, they might never be truly loved by another being; especially their parents. With legs crossed, lying on her generic bed; Krist didn't bother patting her aching thigh. She could feel the pulse of her calf, as snoot collected on the corner of her eye.

A blurry lining of mucous plastered her pupil, through which she could perfectly well see the bright glow of the pink camera icon. All that she knew about a pretty, and ideal world came from that part of the internet. On her best days, Krist would smile and comment on most of what people had to say about their lives, or other people's lives for that matter. Not once did she feel she was prying in because let's face it, why would people even post on the internet if they didn't want to hear a scandalous thing or two?

Krist had hoped this early bout of emotional dump would end by the night. But sadly, it had just begun to hit her. It was the third day of her period. For anyone who had said 'third's a charm', had probably never thought it through. In all its capacity, her uterus had waged a war against her sniffing being.
