Bridges Burned - Linda Leevike
Redemption in the Wreckage
In brokenness, we find our peace,
From chaos blooms a sweet release.
The wreckage tells of battles fought,
In every scar, a lesson taught.
With open hearts, we seek the grace,
A pathway forged, a sacred space.
From depths of sorrow, joy will rise,
In redemption, love never dies.
Grace Amidst the Searing
The searing heat, a trial divine,
In flames of faith, our spirits shine.
Through trials faced, we grow more strong,
In grace we dwell, where we belong.
Each moment's pain, a fleeting guest,
In love's embrace, we find our rest.
From heated paths, our trust ascends,
In grace we walk, where suffering ends.
Celestial Ruins of the Past
In the twilight of forgotten days,
Echoes of faith in shadows lay.
Whispers of angels, soft and clear,
Guide us through the distant years.
Memories carved in sacred stone,
Silent prayers that guide us home.
Stars that tremble with lost grace,
In the ruins, we seek His face.
The heavens weep with stories told,
As the remnants of the brave unfold.
Through ancient lands where spirits roam,
A path to our celestial home.
Offering thanks to the skies so wide,
With every turn, He walks beside.
In ruins, we find our spirits' breath,
Awakening truth from the hands of death.
Through the dust, our hearts arise,
Casting hope into the skies.
In the celestial ruins, we renew,
The whispers of love, forever true.
Exodus from Familiar Soil
Beneath the veil of the setting sun,
We gather strength, our journey begun.
Roots entwined with the earth we know,
Yet the call of the heavens bids us go.
With open hands and souls aflame,
We carry with us His holy name.
Across the lands where troubles lie,
We seek the truth that cannot die.
A river flowing, pure and bright,
Washing away the remnants of night.
Each step we take, a faithful tread,
In the promise that He leads ahead.
Rising mountains and valleys low,
In the silence, His wisdom flows.
Familiar soil now far behind,
We follow the light, our hearts aligned.
Through every trial, in faith we stand,
A testament to His guiding hand.
An exodus from the past we claim,
For in His presence, we find our flame.
The Altar of Departure
At dawn's first light, we gather here,
In the stillness, we shed our fear.
An altar built of dreams and pain,
A place where we release the chain.
With offerings of love and trust,
We lay our burdens, ashes to dust.
In sacred silence, prayers are shared,
For every heart, the soul has bared.
With every heartbeat, we transcend,
A journey start, where paths do bend.
The altar stands, both firm and bright,
A beacon shining through the night.
As shadows fall, we forge ahead,
With faith as guide, no words unsaid.
In the departure, we find our way,
In His embrace, we choose to stay.
Together we rise, our spirits soar,
From this altar, we are reborn.
In the sacred space of goodbye,
We greet the dawn, our spirits high.
Pilgrimage Through the Flames
Through the flames, our spirits rise,
Forged in trials beneath the skies.
With every ember, our faith ignites,
A pilgrimage that seeks the heights.
In the heat, we shed our fears,
Bring forth the joy from past tears.
The fire dances, a sacred art,
Cleansing trials that shaped the heart.
Beyond the blaze, the light remains,
In the ashes, we find refrains.
With courage bold, we face the blaze,
A journey carved through fiery days.
In the embrace of Divine surround,
We find our strength, we stand our ground.
Through the flames, together we walk,
In whispered prayers, our souls unlock.
With hearts ablaze, we move as one,
Guided by the eternal sun.
Through the fire, our spirits claim,
A pilgrimage forever unashamed.
Hymn of the Departed
In silence, they whisper, the voices of old,
Guiding the weary, their stories unfold.
In the light of the heavens, the faithful embrace,
A journey of souls, in ethereal grace.
As shadows recede, their presence remains,
In the hearts of the living, in joys and in pains.
With every soft tear, a prayer shall ascend,
A bond that transcends, until time's very end.
In the stillness of night, their spirits will sing,
With love everlasting, like the hope that they bring.
They walk beside us, in moments of strife,
A hymn of the departed, the song of our life.
Through valleys of sorrow, we venture with care,
In
