Pre-trained Large Language Models (LLMs) undergo an initial training phase where they learn a comprehensive understanding of language by analysing diverse internet text. This phase means they get a broad grasp of general language patterns and contextual nuances.
Fine-tuning involves subjecting these pre-trained LLMs to a specialized training regimen tailored to refine their ability in specific domains or tasks, such as medicine or gaming.
