Preface

This story is going to tell how and why destiny had a man with no literary talent or writing skills, along with a very limited vocabulary, become an author of five best-selling books. This book will be the culmination of all the books he has written.

The story is about an old man whom the FBI claims is a member of the Mafia. This man is so determined to bring forth a message that he is ready to risk his life.

This fascinating man's story is thrown off the rails when his insight tells him that our nation is under siege.

He goes on to tell how and why our nation has been recently threatened to have its democracy overthrown.

Could it be possible that one sick, deranged man with too much power could jeopardize the future of our great nation?

During the story, one incredible, unexplainable event takes place that will keep you on your toes throughout.

You will read about this phenomenal occurrence in depth when the story from Beyond the Beyond is told. The book offers some humor and many messages, but most of all, it shows that with an unbreakable determination in one's belief, your destiny will be fulfilled.

The author is going to show how one man becoming too powerful within our political structure would be able to jeopardize the democracy of the greatest nation on the face of the earth.

Introduction

This is a story about a man who had found much happiness early on in his adult years. He married young, was blessed with four children, and became a homeowner and a successful businessperson.

Opening health spas in the late sixties, he became one of the first modern-day forefathers of physical fitness centers.

He had the insight to realize that we, as a society, were moving into a space age, a time of computers and automation. Knowing this, he had the foresight to see that the average American would not be getting sufficient exercise in everyday life.

His plan was to open modern-day physical fitness centers from coast to coast. Those plans and goals came crashing down when he discovered sports and casino gambling.

Having no idea that he had a compulsive personality, he was swallowed up in the fast lane. That led him into the life of crime, which eventually brought him into the Mafia.

I am sure that one who has read his books would say that he has worn many hats throughout his incredible and adventurous life. It was only when a phenomenal event took place that his life started to turn back in the right direction.

It was that special occurrence in his life that inspired him to write five best-selling books.

Never before has this man talked or written about the Mafia. In each of his five books, he was evasive when it came to the allegations brought upon him from the FBI and the New York Organized Crime Task Force for being a member of the Mafia.

During the writing of this book, he claimed that he was given insight to be completely truthful about his involvement in the Mafia.

He said that he would do this without being a snitch, which he refers to as rats. During his admission, he only spoke of people that were deceased or who had become rats.

Although he realizes that his admission will jeopardize all his appeal options, he feels it is most important that his life story be told honestly in its entirety.

Walk with me, put your hand in my hand, and walk with me through this world, go where I go, and I will take you on a journey that only few people have been on.

The day has come where I have been given insight that the time is now for me to write my next book. I truly believed that there was not going to be a next book even though I am aware that life has many surprises.

I have been recently putting my heart and soul into a motivational program that I have devised to benefit the inmates here at Clinton Correctional Facility, where I reside as an inmate.

It was twelve years ago when I was convicted of being the driver in a Mafia hit that they say happened twenty years before my arrest.

It was then that I thought that my life was over and the final chapter of my life was completed. I was truly shocked when, to my surprise, I was given insight that there was much that I still had to write before I would complete my destiny for being born.

Since then, I have been inspired to write five best-selling books. I have also mentored countless inmates during this time of my incarceration.

I do not discriminate; I look to inspire and innovate all, but I must admit that I really enjoy helping the young inmates that I believe were products of their environment, the ones that never had a fair chance in their young lives, the ones that wind up in prison.

My common sense told me that this was not the time to attempt to write another book—from the impeachment of Trump to the world introducing us to the deadly virus that called itself COVID-19, which neither had a conscience nor discriminated; it would happily infect anyone who gets in its way.

It was then that my body started telling me that the COVID-19 virus had inflamed my entire person. There were two occasions that first day when I knew that I was close to taking my last breath.

As I barely made it to the prison hospital, thanks to Correctional Officer Tammer, I was now going to be in quarantine for the next fifteen days for testing positive for the COVID-19 virus.

As I carried on that first day, even though I was slowly being overcome by this terrible virus as it began to take all the strength from my body, I started to become a little delirious as I started to hallucinate for short periods. It was then that I knew it was not necessary to wait for any test results to come back. I was certain that the new threat to the world, the virus that called itself COVID-19, had just recently introduced itself to me. Having the news on my TV every day in my cell had me learn about the many deadly personalities that COVID-19 possessed. It was then that I learned that COVID-19 had infiltrated the great prison walls of Clinton and grabbed hold of me by its infectious claws.

I have just recently recovered from the deadly COVID-19 virus. At my age of seventy-five, the doctors told me that I was very lucky to have fought off this deadly virus. The doctors seemed a little confused when I told them that I had no fear because I knew it was not time for me to leave this world. There still was much I needed to do to fulfill my destiny.

Since then, I have had my TV programmed to CNN News twenty-four hours a day. I would follow the American death count each day—how many of our citizens have lost their lives from the murderous horror that calls itself COVID-19.

During this last year, I have become fond of Chris Cuomo; he has his own prime-time 9:00 p.m. EST television show on CNN five days during the week. I became aware of Chris Cuomo approximately one year before our nation became aware that it was going to be scourged by an enemy virus that was going to start taking so many innocent American lives as it also began to threaten all of humankind.

It was when the infectious claws of the COVID-19 monster touched Chris that I began to clearly see the seriousness of this pandemic. I listened carefully as Chris talked about all his symptoms that he endured from COVID-19. It was like a reenactment that I was going through as the infectious claws of COVID seemed to be attacking me in a similar way that Chris was attacked.

Repeating myself, my common sense tells me that this is not the time to attempt to write another book.

Along with having to fight off this deadly virus, I have been missing the woman that I have loved for most of my life. After thinking of her during the middle of the night, I began to toss and turn. My memory then went back to when we were very young. It was the end of our first year of high school; we had just started dating. It was a Saturday during that summer; we were on the beach at a lake where all the local high school kids went.

It was then that I looked at her stomach—she was wearing a two-piece bathing suit—and said to myself, There is where my children will be born.

After having that thought, I got up and said to myself, I'm so lonely. Sitting here late at night in my prison cell, I have no one here that I can talk to, no one that I can express my feelings to. No one here cares.

Therefore, I began to talk to these walls, pretending that they were the woman I love. I kept her picture on my wall; I could get intoxicated just looking into her eyes. I could almost hear the sound of my heart beating as I told her picture that I'd love her until I die.

It was so sad to be alone; I did not know if I could make it any longer without her. I needed her now to help me through the night. I kept some of her letters under my bed dated 1965. I underlined in red every I love you that she wrote.

Never before had I realized how crazy in love that I had been with her until tonight. When I stopped and thought for a
