      The sky was painted with the soft hues of twilight as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the tranquil suburban neighborhood of Crestwood. In a quaint, two-story house nestled among the trees, a teenager named Alex Mitchell lay in bed, tangled in the sheets, caught in the throes of a restless dream.

      In the dream, Alex found themselves standing in the midst of a dense, ancient forest. The trees whispered secrets, and the air was alive with an otherworldly energy. A sense of both familiarity and strangeness washed over them.

      A gentle breeze rustled through the leaves, and in the distance, the soft sound of water trickling over rocks hinted at the presence of a hidden stream. But the most peculiar thing was the sensation of fur against their skin. Looking down, Alex realized they were covered in sleek, ebony fur.
