Focused Meditations
()
About this ebook
Some people are afraid to get out of prison. They are afraid they will fail at all the new challenges.
Ambriel Divine presents situational ‘meditations’ for readers to read, recite, and repeat to help anchor new successful experiences into memory. These are written for people who have fear over their release for prison or jail. They can visualize and meditate on these before they walk out as free man to start life over.
There are basic experiences written out that cover finding work, moving into that apartment, buying a car, spending time at home, and more.
Without preparing your mind for success and ease when you release, anxiety and fear can cause you to make poor decisions with negative consequences.

Introduction
This book provides a glimpse of NEW THOUGHTS.
Or, new ideas to focus your mind as you prepare for your release from prison.
Read through them. If they 'fit your personality and goals' then work with them.
You can read and re-read them as they are.
You can read them then meditate and visualize those things happening. See a picture of yourself in that actual situation, succeeding.
You can write your own version of this meditation in your own journal.
The bottom line is: put your mind-energy into positive directions. You must see yourself reaching your goals.
Before Getting Out:
Plan for positive thoughts and experiences. Visualize everything going smoothly.
Visualize everything falling into place easily for you.
Personal Goals
I am so excited the end of my incarceration is getting closer each and every day. I have set short-term goals to keep me focused.
Re-unite with family
Find helpful mentors and supportive friends
Work
Establish a positive routine or schedule
Find a way to fit in exercise, learning
Learn about my neighborhood, and learn to use technology
Volunteer
Make time for my mental health with meditation
Stay clean, sober, and positive
Focus on the gifts that each day brings, with gratitude
I have a notebook where I wrote out my goals for the first year. I use that for journaling new ideas. Those are more specific to me- they include details like a vehicle, girlfriend, apartment, and more.
My Long-Term Goals mirror my short-term goals, they are written below.
Long-Term Goals
Positive, loving interactions with family
Spend time with supportive friends and mentors
Satisfaction and pride in my work
Time in my week for hobbies or volunteering
Limit my use of technology to what is necessary
Maintain positive mental, emotional, and spiritual health
Maintain positive physical health with diet and exercise
Stay clean, sober and positive
Focus on daily gifts with gratitude.
I am grateful for the chance to transition positively back into my family, my community.
Learning Plan
I really do have a short-time to release. For that reason, I am spending less time with smut magazines, mindless songs and games on the tablet, and fewer card games.
I am spending more time reading books that focus on personal and career skills.
I have read into psychology books to learn a little more about how to handle conflict with other people. I know I will face some disagreements once released, I will handle them calmly and smoothly.
I have also read several inspiring self-help books from the library, showing me the importance and the meaning of life.
I have spent regular time reviewing basic math skills. I know math skills are necessary and vital for simple things like paying bills and tasks at work.
I have learned about computers and feel comfortable and confident in using them both at home and at work.
I have read some career-specific books and magazine articles to stay on top of the current trends in the field I plan to enter.
I am grateful that my transition back into the community where new opportunities to work will come to me easily.
Job Preparation
I am soon to get out of jail/prison. I had several different work positions during my incarceration that will help me when I get out. I have put together a resume, and made
