Prologue
You Were Born To Sell, it’s what most people don’t realize, it’s consistently going on in your life. At every given moment, you were born to sell, signifies.
That opportunities exist beyond the call centers, board rooms, and the high stakes places were salesmen and women. Are trading, selling and buying.
This book aims to unlock, what sales is. And how come we are always selling? The benefits to society, ourselves and others when we sell.
What so important about selling?
And like the title says; why do I say, that you were born to sell?
Is the act of selling, the most natural in human nature, and the most hated job in human existence, or society. This we will discuss in the following pages.
1.
The misconception of what sales is, and what it is not
LineW
hat the heck is sales? The basic way, I can think of explaining sales. A Guy, takes a flight from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 to New York. He enter a coffee shop, and point at the coffee, without the knowledge of basic English.
The barista, confirms that he wants a coffee. In Spanish, the men says, Si. The barista takes that as a, yes. The guy suddenly puts his money on the counter, and waits for the barista to serve him his drink.
He is handed his drink, he adds sugar to his coffee. And he walks out.
So what the heck is sales? Sales Is everything, you might think, I sound insane for saying this. But besides, breathing, and walking, maybe sales is the most natural behavior, we have as people.
So what is sales? Sales is the ability to ask for solution to something you need and if a another person has the solution, some type of exchange of value occurs. It doesn’t always involve money💰, it could also be a favor. But sales is a very natural human process, of valuable transfer. What do I mean?
I’m saying that even when you don’t think your in sales, your in the process of being sold or buying. Or providing value or taking value.
Sales is kind of like finding uncut diamonds, worth money, but only if you sell it.
So the value of everything is only determined after you sell, not when you own it. Let me give you a few examples, to prove my point.
Example 1; If your a carpenter and you build houses, and let’s say you and your crew, can make twenty houses per
