Danskeanna Blue
"I was born Patricia Louise Cox in Cleburne, TX. I am the original Danskeanna! I created the name over 30 years ago and since then hundreds of people are using the name online. I have one son and two granddaughters. I started writing when I was 14. This collection represents 50 years of writing. My childhood was a nightmare plagued with chaos, violence and abuse. Those events became the platform on which my writing is based. I worked in the publishing industry for many years. I worked at AUTO TRADER MAGAZINE and THE DALLAS MORNING NEWS. They say women base their relationships on their first experience with a man, their father. I have been married three times. I never knew love from my father making it hard to accept love from other men. I had nothing to base it on. In spite of the trauma I had been through, I found myself emerging as a stronger person. I am now confident and loving.I am still growing. Proving that you can survive any trauma and come out a better person."

You Are Not Alone - Danskeanna Blue
Dedication
I dedicate this book to all:
All who have suffered
All who have been alone or abandoned
who have been forsaken
All those who have fought the demon depression
All who have been abused or molested
All those who practice self-mutilating habits
All who have had thoughts of suicide
All those who have survived….
You are Not alone; I have been there!
I have survived and so can you
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
Acknowledgements
Special thanks to my best friend in the world, my beautiful mom Guilea Mae.
And my beloved son, Zekiel and of course, love and thanks to THE ONLY ONE who really knows me; and still loves me – My God, My Creator,
My Lord, My Liege, My Beloved Savior.
Unique and soul searching thoughts presented through an unusual style of poetry.
Passion that will leave you looking deep into your mind; what you see there,
you will NOT soon forget.
Perpetual Shadows
From out the pit of horror known
Comes a storm from Hell full blown
Haunted by the haunted –
Never – ending fears – unnecessary tears
Perpetually in darkness…
In the Guise of Liberty
I had a nightmare –
I saw a child
I saw liberty running wild!
What be wrong with our Great Lady?
But wait – it’s Evil in her guise…
It’s evil bids the child with lies…
For in the Guise of Liberty –
Evil lives out it’s Fantasy…
I actually saw this as a painting –
my second passion– I saw a child being approached by a man. He was wearing a mask in the semblance of Miss Liberty’s head. They were in the streets of a brightly lit neighborhood. A neighborhood of undesirable attractions. Trustingly, the child took the hand of this
