      The tortoise was not meant to make a career, but was destined to make history.

      The eons of time have crumbled to dust, the palaces of its royal monarchs but the fable of hare and tortoise has sustained 2000 years of checkered history. It seems the modern world and the tortoise have grown up together. A small fable, low budget event, in jungle settings with the protagonists from the jungle itself still continues to intrigue the world.

      The hare and tortoise drama and theater, has gone through many itineration a n d whenever a race is mentioned, the tortoise hogs the limelight. It appears as if, the tortoise is the only racer, and Olympic champion in the world. Even Olympians are not as famous and celebrated as this humble and docile hooded creature.

      The show is going on and on.
