    About this ebook

    It was only a few years ago when God shed his light on me and anointed me with the gift of writing poetry. He opened my eyes to understand from the scripture that I read. A powerful message came down from above and descended here on me. The grace of God bestowed on me the special gift that was given. It burns in my soul and lets the words flow on the paper it was written. May I thank him daily for what he has given to me. May my heart yearn to do his will, to use this gift he placed in me, to see the mighty hand of God, the creator of all things, who used a humble servant and made her a child of the king!

      What can I do to shine the light of Jesus

      to the world?

      We can be a beacon of light to all each day.

      kindness to other’s in different ways.

      Our tone of voice, our attitude.

      Should be one of sweetness and gratitude.

      Think of the kindness shown by Christ.

      Most of all his sacrifice.

      Giving his life on an old rugged cross.

      A crown of thorns on his head

      All for us to be forgiven of our sins.

      He is preparing a home in Heaven for us.

      All who place in him their trust.

      Shine his light in the world today.

      Bow your head and pray.

      God’s love needs to be shown to all.

      Shine your light in the darkness of this world!

      Your future is as bright as the

      promises of God.

      Reading from God’s word the Bible.

      See the promises throughout.

      God’s plan for you is not to harm you.

      He does not lead you astray.

      He walks beside you everyday.

      Talk with him and listen to what

      he conveys.

      All these wonderful promises

      All intended for you.

      Your soul will be set free of sin.

      When you open your heart and let

      Jesus in.

      The blessings he gives are over flowing

      in number.

      A Christian trusting in the word of God.

      You are never alone.

      He is on his throne.

      This morning the sun is shining.

      Oh what a glorious sight!

      After a few days of rain and cloudy skies.

      When I arose to see the sunlight.

      My heart was filled with joy.

      God’s presence is with us through troubling times.

      His strength will guide us through.

      If we put our trust in him.

      Our soul will be renewed.

      May we be a blessing to someone.

      Let our hearts be filled with song.

      To praise your name.

      We give you the glory for all belongs to you.

      I give my thanks for the blessings received

      For my making it through this day.

      For your sunshine that brightened my way.

      Filling needs, answering prayers.

      Oh so much we take for granted.

      Open our eyes and ears to hear.

      All the verses from your Bible.

      Verses we hold dear.

      They bring to mind the time we read them.

      All the comfort they did bring.

      Lift your voice to sing.

      Praises to our heavenly King!

      All that I want to give to you with blessings

      This is the plan I have for your life.

      Do not let the ways of the world swallow you up.

      My Holy Spirit will control your mind.

      He will free you from worldly ways.

      Spend a quiet time with me.

      Peace and contentment lie there.
