Dedication
To all who will read my book, I hope you feel God’s presence . . .
See his glory . . .
And inherit his blessings . . .
And never ever let go of his unchanging hand.
Look to the Hill and Keep Keeping On
If you feel that Satan has you bound
And in your soul there’s no peace to be found,
Friends have forsaken and left you all alone.
Look to the hill and keep keeping on.
When your burdens get too heavy for you
And somehow you can’t get a prayer through,
Just pick up your cross and say this race I shall run
And look to the hill and keep keeping on
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race
Is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong
Neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of
Understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time
And chance happeneth to them all. (Ec.9: 11) KJV
Yes! Look to the hill and keep keeping on.
FOREWORD
Ma had her way of telling us what she dreamed the previous night whether we wanted to hear it or not. She would just say, It won’t take long, and it isn’t about you.
The reason she would say that was that we had heard countless dreams that came to pass, and frankly, it scared us to death! I mean, not any mother but our mother was telling us dreams that involved family and people of our community . . . dreams ending with people having died or in the process of dying. Of course, we never wanted to hear her say, I had a dream about you last night!
I remember my father and some of his friends asking my mother what numbers she dreamed of. Ma had a habit of revealing the numbers after the numbers were already played. To her, it was silly to gamble your money away but to them, it was one shot away from the big one!

PREFACE
I asked God to give me something to do for his glory and he put this song in my heart. You can say I composed it with the help of God. He gave me this because, in the years to come, he saw the heartaches and pains that I was to encounter. I took care of my dying mother as well as my stepfather. They, along with my beloved son who died from AIDS, all died in my home.
My pastor preached the verse Psalm 121:1. It said, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help." Little did I know that, for the rest of my life, I would be carrying these words in my heart to keep me in eternal comfort and yes, God is good!
Taste and see for the Lord is good! (Ps.34:8) KJV
Chapter I
Christmas Decorations
When I was a young child, my grandmother always took us to church and I loved Sunday school more than anything; I studied hard because I could see how proud it made her feel when I answered all the questions when no one else could. I have always had a passion for the Word of God. I read my Bible constantly. From that love for his Word, he probably decided to reward me with my extraordinary present.
In the year 1956, I had my first experience with my special gift. I had the first of my many dreams; oddly, this one was so real. I could see every detail in the buildings, and the people on the street. They were walking up to the front as if they were going to see something or somebody when they got there. Naturally, I too was in line. All of a sudden, I felt someone’s hand on my shoulder, and I turned around and saw this hideous creature. He looked like the devil in the comic books I read when I was young. He spoke and he said, I want you!
It seemed to me like he had made a careful choice of what he wanted, and he was determined on having me.
I woke up in a sweat. I could hardly get my breath. At that moment, it was as though I was in a trance. Frozen with fright and exhausted from the terrifying dream, I fell back to sleep. In a matter of minutes, I find myself in the midst of another dream, a sweeter one this time—the heavens. Suddenly, the sky opened up, and I saw the beauty of the Lord. There were colorful Christmas bulbs, millions of them it seemed, that the natural eye could not describe. There were reds, blues, greens, yellows, and purples, and every other color that only the hand of God can design. It is for me a lifetime memory that I cherish in the very essence of my soul.
After waking up with feelings of both sadness and joy, I felt unworthy. At the same time, I felt God had shown me favor beyond expectations. I called my grandmother and told her about my dream. She said God had his hand on me and that I should come and go to church with her to be saved (born again) and to be filled with the Spirit of the Lord. I remember crying to the Lord because I had two children, yet I was only 17 at the time. I needed to ask God to forgive me for my sins.
Well, I went to church that night. That same night, God saved me with his Holy Spirit. He showed me his glory and led me to this beautiful Bible verse: "Repent and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" (Acts 2:38) KJV
Things had been going good until a couple of years after. In 1958, I was reading my Bible at my grandma’s house, and I saw a small red ball come from the light bulb. It was such a pretty color red that you knew it was God’s own work. This, I think, was the beginning of God speaking to me during the night. That small red color emerged into a circle of colors that had a bright light in the center of it. Since then, I always see this array of colors, both when I am awake and asleep. These heavenly shades in my eyes became to me a movie in living colors. If you continue reading, you will also see what wonderful visions God has given me.
I am here to let the world know that he is real. On his end, he lets me know he does answer prayers. I so wanted to hear his voice talking to me. To do that, he speaks to me in my night spells. He says to me, Come and enjoy the scenery.
But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of
