About this ebook
The central unifying idea around which this theory revolves and which is presented herein is that the entire continent of Australia was once a giant cosmic body that struck Earth in the not-too-distant past. This calamitous event began with the total disintegration of one planet in our solar system, which left behind the asteroid belt in its wak

INTRODUCTION
We realize that we are proposing with this theory may seem unbelievable, even preposterous at first glance. However, upon open-minded, unbiased consideration, we believe our theory will become plausible. The proponents of most mainstream scientific schools of thought all insist that their ideas are truth, whether theorized of proven
(at least as much as anything can be proven). We are not trying to prove anything. Altogether we have been researching these ideas to varying degrees for nearly forty years. Bear in mind that even though neither of us are lettered individuals, we are both cum laude graduates of the University of Life. Where we may be lacking in formal education we have made up for with tenacity and perseverance. We believe there are many open-minded individuals including, but not limited to, those who appear in the History channel and in other forums, who are seeking answers to many unanswered questions. Some, if not all, of these people may find our ideas well-thought-out and more than just interesting, but within the realm of possibility.
What follows herein is the crux of our theory: We believe that the entire continent of Australia was once asteroid that struck Earth. It was a large fragment of the planet that once existed between Mars and Jupiter. This planet exploded or was blown up and, in addition to leaving behind the asteroid belt, also threw out immense chunks in all directions. One of the large projectiles that were hurled in the direction of Earth by this dreadful explosion was, of course, an asteroid called Australia. The ripples caused by this cosmic event are still being felt to this day. This one stupendous cosmic catastrophe fractured the ocean’s floors, pushed up many new mountain chains, levelled others, and generally wreaked havoc over the entire planet. Some of the debris ejected in this planetary annihilation nearly destroyed planet Earth.
We present this theory in an attempt to tie together many, if not all, of the various questions, mysteries, myths, and enigmas that have plagued man from time immemorial. Taken as a whole, our ideas even explain how many extant religious beliefs as well as many
