    Introduction

    What are the traditional educational ideas and teaching methods, and where are the advantages and disadvantages of this educational philosophy?

    1. Traditional education and extended education

    (1) Teaching method

    Lecture method is a way for teachers to impart knowledge to students and develop students’ intelligence through concise and vivid oral language. It is a teaching method that conveys information, imparts knowledge, clarifies concepts, and demonstrates laws and formulas through narration, description, explanation, and inference to guide students to analyze and understand problems.

    The advantage of the teaching method is that teachers can easily control the teaching process and help students acquire a large amount of systematic scientific knowledge in a short time. However, if it is not used well, it is difficult for students to exert their initiative and enthusiasm in learning, and it is easy for teachers to instill knowledge in class and students passively listen to classes.

    (2) Independent study method
