About this ebook
Talk is cheap, and so is a profession of faith apart from repentance. But we live in a day when people put more stock in a once-said prayer than a life reflective of a renewed heart. Taking Matthew 7:13–27 as his text, Paul Washer reminds us of Jesus’s insistence that His way is narrow, and that its travelers will bear good fruit and rest on the solid foundation of God’s Word. Neglecting these warnings from Christ have left many on the broad road to destruction. Don’t think you are heading to heaven if you are not following the way of the Master.

Readers find this title to be a well-written examination of biblical Christianity. It challenges readers to reconsider their understanding of Christianity and provides pithy and on-point insights. Many readers appreciate the author's faithfulness in speaking the truth of God's word. Overall, this book is recommended for all Christians as it offers a fresh perspective on the faith.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is definitely one of those books that every Christian should read at least once. Brother Paul makes it very clear that the Christianity we see today is way different than what we see in the bible. I love this sermon and having been able to read it was perfect. This is a man of God that I admire and would like to meet in person one day.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5FIRE & TRUTH! God bless Brother Paul for his faithfulness in speaking the truth of God's word.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I read the book looking for words to say to others, instead the words spoke to me.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This is a written adaptation from his "shocking youth message". Thankful to have this as a book!

The Author’s Prayer
Father, I am so small and so pitiful in so many ways. I tremble lest false fire should be brought before Your altar. Yet what if fire came down from heaven, amid all the noise, clamor, and activities of the world? If fire would come down from heaven, then these dead bones would live. You know, O Lord.
I pray and I beg before the throne of God that in Your sovereignty You would be gracious to us, that You would open hearts and minds. Lord, we cannot wait for men and women to open theirs. They never will. Open up their hearts and minds and cause them to see biblical truth. Breathe on them. Grant them repentance. Grant them faith. Bring them into Your kingdom, Lord, for Your own glory, for the sake of Your own great name; do this thing, Lord. Let it come to pass, Lord, so that no man will take credit for it, so that no man will lay his hand to the ark of God and be struck down dead. Oh, God, move among us,
