Reviews for Self-Love
1 rating1 review
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I believe you should really give this manual a try. It's simple to see that the author put a lot of time into it. I feel I'll tell my friends and family about it also. Or maybe not. I don't know. Therefore, with this being said, I do recommend it.

Self-Love - Lisa Herd
Self-Love?
Chapter 1: The Essence of Self-Love
Most of us already know what self-love is but do not comprehend it. You eat because you comprehend that you need nourishment. It is not good that most of us are trying to dominate external battles like finding love, finding success, or finding happiness, but we don't comprehend that self-love is the root from which everything grows.
How can we love the next person efficiently before we have learned to really love ourselves unconditionally? When you really love yourself conditionally, you cannot really love another person unconditionally, just because why give someone else something you don't have? Our grasp of self-love is acquired at the time of childhood from other people who cared for us. For the most part, it is taught unconsciously; we just got a peek from watching the people who nurtured us.
Self-love is so much more than simply wearing nice clothing and applying bouts of costly makeup and then saying that you really love yourself. Self-love is an umbrella term for different acts of love we perform to ourselves physically and non-physically. There are lots of well-groomed people that I know who have no clue what it means to really love themselves. To love yourself is not an act of selfishness, it is an act of compassion to others because when you love yourself, others don't need to deal with your unresolved problems.
Self-love consists of four aspects you should know about: self-awareness, self-worth, self-esteem and self-care. We will discuss those shortly.
If one of them is missing, then you do not entirely have self-love. To have it, we should be aligned with these four aspects. The journey of achieving self-love does not vary from confronting your satanic forces. It's the reason most of us lack it, because nobody wants to sit down and have a discussion with themselves. Self-Love is not easy to attain because it suggests having to do away with certain things and people we're addicted to. Our dependency to people and practices that go against the premise of self-love means that we compromise and therefore really love ourselves conditionally, in exchange for the momentary rush we get from these sidetracking things.
Self-awareness
Self-awareness is being aware of your thought procedures: your thoughts, how they influence your emotions, and how feelings trigger you to act. Are you aware of the thoughts that make you feel upset and make you act impulsively? Where are they originating from, and why are they there? Why do they cause you to act the manner in which you do? The exact same applies to what makes you happy. Why does it make you happy, really? It is getting out of yourself to analyze yourself. Self-awareness is the key to emotional intelligence. What makes you angry might not stop making you that angry, but you are going to realize how to respond successfully or how to not respond at all. Individuals with high emotional intelligence have feelings like we do. But they step out of their emotions to process them efficiently. This also includes moving away or avoiding circumstances that you know will set off some unwanted feelings and reactions within you. If you cannot stay away from the circumstance, self-awareness allows you to redirect the energy you are putting in those feelings. One way to improve your self-awareness is to keep a journal of your thoughts, emotions, and actions.
Self-worth
Because of the continuous negative programing that we face in society, we focus on the bad and undesirable things and project this negativity onto ourselves so many times without even recognizing it. You are born with an endless sea of potential; You have it now and you'll have it till the day you die. Just like we can't create or ruin energy, we can only explore or hide potential. Self-worth is the beliefs we have about ourselves, and often we struggle to believe in ourselves. This is simply because of past unfortunate scenarios we have been through that we have not fully gotten rid of. Self-worth lies in all of the good ideas about you. Everyone has something good about them. If you struggle to find your self-respect, find a day that you can spend selecting the important things
