      When Miranda was twenty-one years old, her father Bernard had a friend, Richard Clooney. Actually, Richard was just twenty years older than she was and was tall with a mustache, beard, and premature, short gray hair. He had a well-built body with brown eyes. He was divorced with one daughter who used to be a friend of Miranda but lived with her mother.
