About this ebook

This book is simply a revelation of how we, as God’s children, are supposed to operate in the realm of higher authority in every sense. For instance, we should not see things the way the world sees them and much less do things the way the world does them. We are unique in a way and it is important to know that we are destined to live a life fulfilled, before and after death. Our lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, came so that that we could live life in its fullness.

Here is an account of how Christians can live a fulfilled life, even when they are still alive. You can opt to live and operate in God’s Economy using heavenly currency, which never depreciates. Yes, this can be possible. Though we are in the world, we need not be of the world, therefore we are supposed to influence the world and not have the world influence us. That is why the Word says in Romans 12:2: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Hence, God is calling you today to influence everything in this world - physically, spiritually, economically and in any other way - and to see to it that His Will in your life will be fulfilled.

    Acknowledgements

First and foremost, I would like to thank God Almighty for His grace and mercy upon me, that He chose me among the many He calls His own. I also want to thank God for the gift of knowledge and wisdom that He has given me. I can’t say that I had ever before seen myself as having such great knowledge, especially in the field of writing books. If it hadn’t been for God, I would not have discovered the author in myself.

Secondly, I would like to thank my church, St. Nicholas in Beacon Bay, East London, for the spiritual and moral support accorded to me. In this church, I have found a family that I can relate to spirituality, and be in the company of loving and caring people who have helped me in many ways but, above all, helped me to discover the person I really am and my potential. I may not mention each and everyone’s names, but I would like to acknowledge the ministry and effect that my pastor, Rev. Philip Howarth, and his family have had upon me. He has stood with me tirelessly in trying times and all I can say is may the Almighty God bless him abundantly.

Special thanks also goes to a group of men and women of God, who have enabled me to stand firm amidst waves and storms; people like my sister Bupe Mwimba, Mr. James and Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson, Mrs. Mary Anne Klein, Mrs. Belle Levey, Mr. Joe Kristafor and Mrs. Yvonne Hilton. My dear Prof. Mirriam Angelinah Yaliwe Jiya (D. Ed.), Prof. Zindlovu Jiya (Ph.D.) and Lee-Ann Aucamp. These people have been such a pillar of strength for me and from whom I draw my inspiration and motivation to look and reach beyond what I can actually see and touch. Thanks for all your prayers and support; your love is priceless and only God can reward your efforts.

I would also like to thank my family, Dr. Richard and Mrs. Jolly Makomba for your physical and moral support. Thank you so much for taking me in and accepting me. While with you, I have had God speak and teach me many things, given what we have been through. Thank you for your patience and love toward me. Therefore, I would like to believe that this has been one of my training-grounds to hear and learn many things about God and His people. Thank you for allowing God to use you. May God richly bless you.

Lastly, my thanks goes to my editing personnel of Mr. Neville and the late Mrs. Becky Crowder and Mrs. Amour Bundy for their support in every way. Thank you for making this possible for me. Without you, I believe this would have not been easy for me. I pray that the Almighty will compensate you for all your efforts.

    Introduction

Praise be to God Almighty, who gave me the revelation and inspiration to write this book. Never before in life, until now, had I seen myself as being an author someday, although one of the duties in my career was writing, for instance, articles and news stories. However, on the 4th of May 2016 when I was doing my chores, God reminded me of how troubled I had been a few years back because my daughter had not been able to go to school.

I remember trying by all means to obtain funds, while praying to God, hoping that someone would come to my rescue to raise school fees for my daughter Blessed, but it was all in vain. I looked at potential sources like my mother and my friends from the fellowship. This meant that while I was praying, I also looking at the people around me. When things failed to work out for me, I was so frustrated that I went to church during one of the lunch-hour services. Alone there, I fell on to the floor and started crying before God (as, you may remember, Hannah did in 1 Samuel 1:10). In the church, there was a young man who heard me and sought to know what was troubling me. I preferred not to talk to him; instead, I wanted to talk to a particular minister and ask for prayer and counselling.

Remembering all that, I had the exact same feeling that I’d felt at that time and I started praying to God to help my children through school. This challenged me so much in a way. I imagined the difficulties my parents must have had, given the limited sources of income they had, to raise enough money to send me to school, right up to University level, and now I am a graduate. When I remembered those incidents, tears rolled down from my eyes and I said to God that no matter what, I wanted to be able to put my children through school and that I never wanted to burden my parents with my children, especially with regard to their school fees.

Then, I heard the voice of God tell me, I AM GOING TO TEACH YOU HOW THINGS WORK IN MY ECONOMY. At first, I thought it was something small; little did I know that it was going to be a big volume of knowledge, enough to fill a book, that God was talking about. God told me that throughout the month of May, He was going to teach me how to operate in His Economy. I started writing from the 5th of May to the 3rd of June 2016. Every night, from about 9:30 to 11:00 pm, I would be in class, with God teaching me and revealing to me the radical truth about how we as Christians are not supposed to live like worldly people. We are not supposed to look at things the way the world sees them; we are not supposed to be influenced by what is happening in the real world but, rather, we should know that ‘we are in the world but not of the worldas it is written in John 17:14, 16. Therefore, we ought not to do things the way the world does them, think like the world does, or even see things the way the world sees them. What we have to know is that even while we are still on earth, God has promised that He will create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered or come to mind - Isaiah 65:17.
