      Shoot is that the time ?

      My stomach’s rumbling like an alarm clock on Monday morning and I’m still in the office. I’m working for Stern Investments for the summer, but the company should be called Slave Driver’s Investments because the CEO’s a workaholic. I’ve been working like a dog, so I can get my diploma and be a qualified secretary.

      Unfortunately, it comes at a price. I’m living in a box, the only one I could afford in the city because everything’s so damn expensive here.

      Back home in Kansas, I have everything I need... from my boyfriend, Leo to my family. Here, I just have this job, four walls and nothing else. I suppose, being busy at work keeps my mind focused on my goal. I’ve been here two weeks, and I’ve recovered from work on the weekends and during the week I tend to work twelve hours a day.

      My phone’s ringing and my stomach’s cramping like crazy. I don’t want to answer it because I want to eat - dinner and lunch at the same time. The nearby Chinese has great prices, and with my tight budget, I have no choice but to eat from whoever’s got a discount going on.
