Carl Fisher grew up in the 1940s in St. Joseph County Indiana amidst the boom in manufacturing related to WWII. At the age of 8 be started helping in the family hardware store. After high school he was a U.S. Navy Personnelman aboard a gasoline tanker in the Mediterranean. Then he went on to get an Accounting and Management degree from Indiana University. As an artist hes copied many masterpieces. Hes written several historical and scientific papers and over 150 poems.

Blueprint for an Even Better America—Prologue
To begin let me say much of the American dream and experiment doesn’t need changing or reforming. We should be ecstatic about our freedoms, self government, and rich blend of cultures. Our Forefathers and some very savvy people have led the way to our being the preeminent leader in the world Along the way we’ve been a beacon of hope to all nations.
The point of this article is to draw attention to the storm clouds forming on the horizon and to paint an alternative future for ourselves. They have always been there in one form or another as we’ve gone through wars, tough economic times, various territorial expansions, and life style changes.
Inbred in the American psyche is the concept of rugged individualism. Perhaps it started with people like the early colonist who had to be within reach of their guns. It proceeded from there as they purchased pelts and land from the Indians with things like axes, hoes, and guns—They then proceeded to move the Indians westward. The frontiers people we’re on the cutting edge of individualism, because they had to be so self reliant. But as they joined into settlements and towns they had to bend to the needs and differences of their communities.
Today we still have our streak of individualism guarded by a weakened Bill of Rights. Now though it’s important to look at
