    Trees are important. They are the lungs of the earth. They take in carbon dioxide and give off oxygen. And if that isnt enough, they also add beauty to our world.

    This book, ABC Trees, is an alphabet book for young children but will also appeal to anyone who appreciates the uniqueness of nature. We need to preserve and protect our valuable tree resources, and hopefully, this book will showcase them in a new light. The sooner young children can be exposed to the wonders of nature, the better chance we have of instilling the importance of protecting our environment.

    You could say that Judith Singley is a “tree hugger” with a camera. She is a retired elementary teacher who enjoys photography, reading, scrapbooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She lives in rural southwest Michigan with her husband and his unusual dog Nelli.
