Shrimp Linguine
Ingredients
One and a half pounds cooked fresh shrimp
Six tablespoons butter
One tablespoon minced garlic
One cup heavy whipping cream
Half cup chopped parsley
Three tablespoons chopped fresh basil
Half teaspoon dried thyme
Three-quarter cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
One (sixteen ounces) package linguini pasta
Directions
Initially, prepare the pasta until it turns soft according to package instructions.
Hereafter, in a big sized casserole add some butter or margarine and keep it over medium flame to liquefy the butter.
Gently, stir in garlic, and fry briefly to release flavor.
Add cream for a creamy texture and simmer until it initiates to boil while mixing it time to time.
Gradually, decrease the flame and add shrimp, parsley, and basil, into the mixture, to make it tastier.
Stir in thyme finally and make it until shrimp are hot.
Off the flame and transfer pasta to a big bowl.
Conclusively, drizzle the sauce over pasta and flip carefully to coat.
Then gradually add cheese, for a mouthwatering flavor.
Season it with salt and pepper.
Serve in pasta bowl immediately and enjoy the taste.
Sauce With Pasta
Ingredients
Four tablespoons olive oil, divided
Six cloves garlic, crushed
Three cups whole peeled tomatoes with liquid, chopped
One and a half teaspoons salt
One teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
One (sixteen ounces) package linguine pasta
Eight ounces small shrimp, peeled and deveined
Eight ounces bay scallops
One tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Initially, stir two tablespoons of the olive oil with the garlic in a medium sized casserole.
Place it over medium flame and fry until garlic turns fragrant.
Hereafter, add the tomatoes simultaneously.
