    RED increased power to the twin thrusters of the rocket pack as they approached the dirigible visible through the thin cloud cover just below them at four thousand feet.

    There was a high probability they were about to experience a fiery death—well, Virtue would die, of course, but not RED. The dangerous, high-speed approach was to demonstrate they were not averse to using courage, disregard for personal safety, and adaptability when under the pressure of a deadline.
