      HEAVEN IS A HOTWIFE

      England isn’t known for it’s blazing sunshine, or general good weather. But once a year, for a few days at least, we typically get a heat wave. This is where the mercury tips past 21°C and a hose pipe ban shortly follows. Then, inevitably, the rain arrives.

      Fortunately for Karen, or my wife and I, this summer heat wave so typically coincided with her birthday. This year Karen’s birthday had fallen on a Friday. We’d both booked the day off work, and had arranged a house party for the evening. The guest list involved a bunch of Karen’s work mates, her circle of close friends, and of course, Tony, my best mate. Myriad others were invited and would no doubt attend, but being somewhat of an introvert I made very little effort to discover their identities.

      Tony was your perpetually single bloke who would stand in the corner of the room all evening, drinking himself silly, imagining himself approaching every woman in the room. But inevitably he would lack the courage to do so, and ultimately head home alone. Still, aside from his failings with women, he is a nice guy.

      This year, for Karen’s thirty first birthday, there would be an extra special guest on our list. A mutual ‘friend’, who we were both very much looking forward to welcoming into our home.

      The morning had started lazily enough: breakfast in bed, cards and presents, kisses, and cuddles. No sex, though. I had tried. Karen pushed me away, playfully. We both knew why, yet it went unsaid. Frustrated, but understanding, I kept back one present. This one I’d give to my irresistible wife later in the evening.

      After breakfast, Karen showered and dressed, and was promptly whirled off to the Trafford Centre, the local shopping mecca, in the passenger seat of Tiffany’s Audi TT. And our special guest this evening would also fall into the same bracket. Having two studs under one roof may have caused a friction none of us wanted.
