Poetic Love - ReKeya Gaines
µWHEN WE MET
Good morning My King!
I remember the day we met like yesterday.
June 21, 2016 I stopped on your picture on P.O.F. to view your profile.
You hit me up, I said, I was just on your profile
, you said, I know!
We sat and talked because the conversation just seemed to flow.
We decided to meet at Wal-Mart.
Your eyes lit up so bright when you saw me walk through the door.
My heart melted as we embraced in a hug.
I felt butterflies in my stomach when you slapped me on my butt.
You walked me to my car and we sat and talked some more.
You proceeded to kiss me on the cheek as you opened my car door.
Two hours later we were back on the phone making plans to see each other once more.
June 23, 2016 you rescued me from a living hell.
As we drove to your house, I started to release my anger.
It no longer felt like I was in a cell.
That night I fell asleep in your arms.
You held me tight and your body kept warm.
I awoke to find you gazing at me, rubbing my forehead, and holding my hand.
I looked up at you and thought this man is such a gentleman.
July 22, 2016 sparked something in my soul.
The next morning I woke up sick and you carted to my every need.
Something you didn't have to do.
That let me know you had a soft spot for me.
You tired your best to nurse me back to health.
Since we couldn't find the cause of it we laid in bed, watched movies all day, and just laughed.
Sunday, July 24, 2016 as we walked through the flea market in Georgia, realizing that I had fallen for you.
All that day I worked up the nerve to tell you.
7:46pm I finally got up the courage to tell
