About this ebook
Tony could have gone anywhere in the World to escape Tyrone’s clutches, but circumstance took him to ‘Hastings’ on the South coast of England, where Tyrone’s long reaching arm found him. He is once again embroiled in a life of crime, not his chosen occupation, but one he seemed to be enjoying.
His love life also changed in the form of Tina, a passionate woman with an insatiable appetite for sex, which Tony was only too happy to provide. Sex eventually turned into love; can love and crime exist side by side? Find out in this second part of Tony’s two worlds.

It has been nearly two years since Liza and I had moved to Hastings. It had been the only way to escape Tyrone’s clutches. I sometimes wondered what would have happened if I had stayed...probably prison would have happened.
My money was lasting well, but I really needed to get a job for the sake of my sanity. I could sense Liza was getting fidgety too, but there was no panic yet, we were still enjoying the ‘holiday feel’ of the place, of being by the seaside.
"Fancy breakfast out this morning Angel? I asked.
Yes, that would be nice, let’s go to Tina and Jacks place
.
We took a slow walk along the sea front; it was a nice day for September. It was only 9am. And people were already playing Mini-Golf. Hastings was a popular resort for weekend visitors, it was only an hour and a bit from London, so it was easy for a family to jump into their car and come down, even for the day. We arrived at ‘Pingos’ and sat at a table outside. It wasn’t long before Tina; the owner came to greet us.
Morning you two, what can I get you?
She was a beautiful girl, her long Black hair showed off her inherited Mediterranean looks perfectly.
My usual fry up please Tina, but could I have a couple of slices of grilled Halloumi cheese as well please?
I’ll have the same please
, said Liza.
Ok and what would you like to drink?
Black coffee no sugar please
Yes, me too
, said Liza.
Ok, won’t be long
, said Tina, as she turned to go, I couldn’t help but look at her bottom.
Are you staring at Tina’s butt?
asked Liza.
Of course not, I’ve got you,
I hoped was the right answer, and it was because Liza laughed.
We ate our breakfast and ordered two more coffees, Tina and her husband Jack came to join us. They were a nice couple, but Jack was always wary of me, he was a bit jealous of the fact that Tina and I had our Cypriot origins in common. We would often go into speaking Cypriot, which he hated, and to be entirely honest, I did have a soft spot for Tina.
You two started to look for proper work yet?
asked Jack.
Not yet, but we will
, answered Liza.
I’m only asking because Tina and I have decided to take on a waitress. Tina is finding it hard working here for ten/twelve hours a day, AND keeping house, so someone helping part time would ease the pressure a bit.
Are you offering me a job?
asked Liza.
Well, I suppose I am if you are interested,
said Jack.
Liza glanced over at me, What do you think?
she asked.
Sounds good to me, at least you will be working with people you know. I say go for it.
Ok. Why not, when do you want me?
That’s great, can you start Monday?
asked Tina.
No reason why not,
said Liza.
Cheers then
I said holding up my coffee cup.
Yia Mas,
said Tina, chinking my cup with hers and giving me a smile.
Just leaves you to sort yourself out with something,
said Tina.
I’ll start looking Monday,
I said.
I had a couple of ideas in mind to follow up. I settled the bill and we took a stroll back to the flat. We sat with our armchairs facing the huge picture window which looked out to sea. It was worth the long climb up 86 steps, not including the 8 steps up to the main entrance, the view was stunning.
That’s good news Jack offering you a job like that,
I said.
Yes, it’s about time we started sorting ourselves out,
replied Liza.
I was just thinking, years ago, my Dad used to bring us to a place just outside Hastings called ‘Highlight’ for our holidays. He knew the bloke that owned the Hotel, ‘The Highlight Hotel’. His name is Theo, nice family, he had two daughters. When we were little we used to play together. I might look him up, you never know.
Sounds interesting, you have nothing to lose,
said Liza.
What shall we do today then?
I asked Liza.
Nothing, let’s do nothing, perhaps get a video and just blob for the day,
suggested Liza.
Good idea, I’ll get ‘Jaws’ I want to see that. I’ll go into town and get it plus a few treats to munch.
Get me some Skittles; shall I put a chicken in the oven for tonight?
I can’t even think about food at the moment, I’m still stuffed with brunch! No leave it, we can have something light later if we want it,
I suggested, Anyway, I’ll go and get the video.
The nearest video rental shop was in town, so I took the car, even though parking was always a pain. I walked into the video shop and the first person I saw was Tina!
What are you doing here?
I asked.
I’ve come to buy a pound of sausages! What do you think I’m doing here? I’ve got a video to watch tonight,
she answered chuckling.
What I meant was who is looking after the café?
I know what you meant. It’s a quiet period so I thought I would take the opportunity,
she said smiling at me.
What did you get then?
I asked.
Jaws, it’s supposed to be good.
Snap! No pun intended it’s what I am after too.
Great minds,
she said giving me another smile. Anyway, got to get back Jack is alone. Maybe see you Monday,
she asked.
Yes I’ll come and see how Liza is getting on.
We said our goodbyes and I watched as she left the store. She had a great body, and I felt guilty thinking of her in that way. I justified my thoughts by thinking ‘I’m only a weak male’. I picked up two bags of Skittles and a bag of peanut Treets, which the video store conveniently displays on the front counter. On the way home I got to thinking about the boys, next weekend was my turn to have them. Eva had made me, via the courts, commit to a regular time to have them as it was so intermittent until then. Not a bad thing really, it was better for me and better for her, Liam and Lucas. It did mean driving all the way to London and back twice, but it was worth it, the boys loved the seaside.
I panted my way up the stairs, and once in the flat I found Liza fast asleep on the sofa! It must have been that huge breakfast. I opened up the recliner facing the window and with the Sun on my face I joined her in the land of nod.

Sunday was pretty uneventful, it rained all day. We watched Jaws twice and basically, it was an uneventful weekend apart from one bit.
We were drinking our umpteenth cup of coffee when the door bell rang. I picked up the entry phone receiver.
Hello.
It’s me Tina; I’ve brought something for Liza.
Great, come up!
I said. I felt happy at hearing her voice.
It’s Tina she has...
I know Tony, I heard on the speaker,
she chuckled.
I pressed the lock release button and heard the buzz. Tina shouted out that she was in and she eventually arrived at the flat door.
Hi Tony,
she said panting, which I thought was quite sexy. She kissed me on the cheek a little longer than she should.
Hi Tina, what have you brought?
I asked.
Well it’s not for you, hey Liza, where are you?
Liza emerged from the kitchen.
Hi Tina, what’s up?
Have you got a Black skirt or trousers Liza?
Yes, I have both,
she answered.
Great, well I’ve brought you some t-shirts to wear at work,
said Tina pulling out four t-shirts from her carrier bag. They were Black in color with a White logo which read ‘Pingos’.
Oh they are nice,
said Liza.
Yes they should fit; you are about the same size as me. If you come about eight thirty in the morning, I will stay with you for the first week and show you the ropes. Perhaps do a couple of mornings and a couple of afternoons.
Yeah, I’ll be all right, I HAVE done it before so shouldn’t be a problem,
said Liza.
Would you like tea, coffee, or something stronger?
I asked.
Glass of Wine perhaps?
said Tina.
Wine it is. Want one Liza?
I asked.
Yeah why not,
replied Liza.
I sat on the double sofa and Tina came and sat next to me, which pleased me immensely. ‘Stop it!’ I found myself thinking, ‘Stop those thoughts!’ but I couldn’t help myself. As she sat down her skirt rode up enough to show most of her thigh, and I found myself staring again. She spotted me looking and adjusted her skirt but at the same time gave me the sexiest smile. That was the highlight of my weekend.
Monday morning, I was awoken by Liza’s alarm, it was six thirty!
Why are you getting up so early?
I yawned.
Oh I just don’t want to be rushing around, wake up slowly, you know. You don’t have to get up,
said Liza.
I had no intention of getting up yet, I closed my eyes and went back to sleep, but not before wishing Liza good luck. When I opened my eyes again, it was nine thirty, I had slept another three hours! I slowly dragged myself out of the bed yawning and couldn’t help thinking how lazy I had got. I sat with my coffee and my thoughts drifted back a few years. How hard I had worked to make something of myself. Now, two years on, I hadn’t worked at anything in particular, just a few odd jobs but nothing substantial. Our savings were dwindling rapidly and I really needed to sort myself out. I had decided to go and see Mr. Cappelos or Theo as I remember him, the Hotel owner in ‘Highlight’. What had I to lose?
I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror after I had wiped away the condensation, and I didn’t like what I saw. All this sitting about, the ‘couch potato’ lifestyle I had gotten used to, had taken its toll. I had definitely put on a couple of inches around my waist, and where I had defined biceps and calves was now floppy excess skin. I made a mental note to myself to sign up with a gym, and starting now, no more fry ups! I had forgotten how delicious Honey and Cinnamon toast was, delicious AND healthy. I got dressed and set off for the ‘Highlight Lodge’ and
