Epilogue.
Prologue, (a little bit at the beginning).
People like to move about on this world.
I think they call it ‘itchy feet’, or perhaps sometimes they say ‘The grass is greener’.
And some people like to stay in one place, happy just to be where they are.
When you are just nine years old you probably fall into both categories, wanting to be somewhere else…and happy to be where you are.
This is a story about two very different people, one who wants nothing more than to escape the life they are living, the other wanting no more than what is around them…
This is also a story about Lions. In fact just about now there is a Lioness, out on the wide open grasslands, not too far from where our story begins, about to give birth to her babies. Her little cubs, but we will come back to her soon…there are a few others to meet first…

But this is what dung beetles did, roll balls of poo. The sooner I get started the sooner, I can curl up in the shade of that lovely big white house
He said out loud as he hugged his ball of poop lovingly. The sun beat down relentlessly for hours as the little creature painstakingly rolled and pushed his ball up the sand dune. Come on Gio, don’t you go giving up on me now
His words of encouragement to himself helped a little, and as he looked up he realised he was only a few feet away from the top of the Sand mountain. Nearly their, now hold fast, be strong just a few more pushes and we will be over the top, yes over the top and on our way back home!
Just then, high up in the sky, a large hawk cast a shadow across the sand as it flew passed. "Oh, how
