About this ebook
Usually when people tend to pray it's during the times of great stress or despair. Times of hopelessness. And, others pray with words of confidence and calm assurance. What makes the difference? All religions have their own form of prayers. Chants, beads, prayer rugs, smocks, incense, candles and an innumerable forms of dress or calisthenics. Most of the time these practices are performed only to, in some sense, placate some unknown deity. When Jesus came on the scene he demonstrated that prayer was much more than our feeble attempts to pacify or appease some demanding god. Arguments and debates are the norm when discussing this particular topic. Jesus made prayer the center of his life and did not treat prayer as a religious exercise. The results of HIS prayer life were undeniable.

Preface
What is prayer? What’s its purpose? Why should it play a prominent part of our lives? Is it only for the occasions when calamity or problems hit? Is it possible for believers to adopt a ‘take it or leave it’ position on this very important spiritual exercise?
I will deal with four principle elements, but, I’m sure there are more. These basic elements should be operational in the believer’s life.
The first element: Relationship
The second element: Accessibility
The third element: Evidence or Undeniable Results
The forth element: Testimony.
When we visit with Jesus and listen to his words as He speaks to the multitudes, we realize how prolific he was in creating picture parables describing kingdom realities. His engaging illustrations touched people’s hearts and opened their understanding of kingdom values. Those moments were times of intimacy where the heart of God was unwrapped to them in a very tangible manner. So, in like manner I
