Sammy Jo acclimates in record time. She remains in touch with her family and hometown friends. However, she is building a new life for herself and enjoying the adventure. Life is good for Sammy Jo. She's turned that corner and is following her dream.
Suddenly her dream becomes unraveled before her very eyes. Strange things are happening all around her. Her suspicions haunt her. The more she learns, the more she needs to know and the more terrified she becomes. Danger is imminent. It is only a matter of time. Once she immerses herself completely, there is no turning back …

Mary Ellen Springsteen has worked most of her professional career in Quality Assurance, Research and Development and Compliance divisions of numerous pharmaceutical and clinical research companies. Her roles have included medical diagnostic testing, validations, auditing, technical writing and clinical trial monitoring. She has completed courses in creative writing, technical writing and writing for children. This is the author's first published book. She is currently working on her next novel.
