I've been given 6 facts about myself to share that might not be known. 1. I am a living Rorhshach inkblot upon which people project their greatest fears, or aspirations. I've been called everything from Jesus Christ to Charles Manson, or I suppose the ZZ Top would end the alphabetical listing, and Grizzly Adams comes before Jesus, too. 2. If you perceive the world to be idyllic, then you probably perceive me as "sanely challenged". 3 If you perceive the world to be currently flawed, yet full of potential for something truly wonderful for ALL of mankind, you probably will perceive me as completely sane. 4 The more rigidly you hold onto an unquestioned dogma, the more likely you will think of me as a heretic to that dogma. 5. I am an iconoclast. 6. I can still be the most charming and quick-witted man you will probably ever encounter, traits that don't come across well on such an impersonal medium. And, for a bonus, as a drink cup I was given by some dear friends says "Sarcasm is just One of my many talents."

When I first saw the movie Avatar, it was on DVD in 2010. The only thing I knew about the movie beforehand was that the movie deeply touched most who viewed it, both positively and negatively.
I had heard about some psychoses in some, like a depression triggered from viewing the movie because it was only a movie. I had heard many reviews, favorable, not-so-favorable, and violently spiteful attacks. The funny thing about some of the attacks was that they were coming from people that had vowed to not watch the movie!
These reviews seemed to come from some of the extremists in the Christian camp that saw in the movie the Anti-Christ ‘worship’ of nature, of course, with some of these reviews coming from the aforementioned critics who had yet to see it. As an artist, all I knew about the movie was that it must be a work of art because it deeply affected people. Is not one person’s idea of a masterpiece the idea of junk to others? You know it is art when people either love it or hate it, the best creates both. Artists are not the grays that nullify emotions; great artists inspire the rainbow of emotions.
